Why didn’t my GP tell me that?

“My GP told me to lose weight & I am also going deaf in both ears, I was struggling. I was trying my best to lose weight but it wasn’t working. I was becoming more and more frustrated. I phoned Jane & explained what was happening to me and after a chat I agreed to undertake a consultation and she assessed my health and my approach.

It was the first time I felt heard

One of those tests showed me just how dehydrated my body had become which has a direct correlation to my fat stores. She explained what I needed to focus so that the weight loss was the reward. For the first time in my life it all made sense and guess what 10 days later I was already down a notch on my belt. Why did my GP not tell me that?

Dehydration has a direct correlation to holding onto body fat- fact!

ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT SOMEONE’S MEMORY?

Where am I?

Where am I?

It can be terrifying if someone you love has began to show signs of reduced cognitive function. The feeling of helplessness, of being out of control, and the pain of seeing someone you love slowly disappearing, can leave you wondering how you will cope – and whether you are up to it.!!!

Here are just a few signs to look out for:

Reduced general confidence and confusion, displays of emotional turmoil, argumentative and irritable, lucidity, confusion between day and night, less able to recognise the faces they know or less engaging and unable to follow the thread of a conversation.

An ability to identify that something is wrong but unable to communicate what.

If you are worried about some one’s memory, you don’t have to suffer in silence there are things you can do about it and blue print is available to you here at https//www.justcallmereg.com in digital download  or in print.

Golf – How to improve your game and practise situation

Are you playing to the best of your ability?

Do you need to loosen up to improve your golf swing technique and your game?

Golf _Training_Injury_ PalmSprings_KinetixCenter

Well did you know that mobility exercises and stretching are key in developing your game as is being able to focus. It’s not how much time you spend practising that improves the game it’s the quality of the practice situation when you are there that counts.

Practising a good warm up preparing your muscles for what they are about to undertake is a good place to start.

Being able to put your mind in the right place is also relevant to the point that you can practise as if it were a tournament and deliver like a winner as you start to raise your own bar.

Shoulder flexibility, upper and lower back mobility, being able to rotate and move your torso independently from your hips will all improve your game.

Like any other great sportsman or woman these exercises are to be practised before going onto the driving range and fall part of the process.

News: VHC launches Skype Personal Training Service

Virtual Health launches Skype Personal Training Service.

Virtual Health was initially for those individuals who are embarrassed to go to the gym and who were time poor. However, after much nurturing and managing the highs and lows of business, this week I have launched a new personal training concept “Personal Training” through Skype.

Some of our old clients have been in touch this week and live outside the UK or are not in our area and wondered how I could help them as we have previous training history and they didn’t want to train with anyone else or was unable to find the suitable trainer.

Skype seems to be our solution to staying in touch on scheduled training and keeping my valued clients in good shape.

So when you have a moment take a look at our re branded site at http://www.virtual-healthclub.com and or drop me a line on email: info@virtual-healthclub.com

Test your acidity levels in your body by investing in a packet of urines strips which will report your acidity levels. Check them on the chart provided.

Your PH levels will probably report a low PH reading and high levels of acidity. Balancing the P H in your body requires you to eat foods which act as an Alkaline to neutralise the acid in your joints. Alternatively you can make an appointment to see your G P and ask for a diet sheet and by following the choices of foods start the process of reducing the painful symptoms you are experiencing.

Making sure you understand the effect of your food choices are having on your body can help keep your body and your immune system in harmony.

Lemons may be the most alkalizing food of all. As a natural disinfectant, it can heal wounds while also providing relief for hyperacidity and energizing the liver.

Therefore you may wish to consider before you invest in a costly detox program which does not suit everyone because of some of the contraindications associated with it, consider working with what is naturally available to you.

WEAK PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLES ?

If your pelvic floor muscles are weak you will be unable to respond when your body performs dynamic exercises.

Most of us have heard of the pelvic floor muscles but few practise them as much as 3 times a week.

They are there to protect the pelvic organs and embarrassing leakages.

To strengthen your pelvic floor muscles you need to do the exercises three times a day and up to ten sets of ten second holds with also ten short strong contractions daily for about 12 weeks.

Pelvic floor problems are not age related some teenagers also suffer from bladder and bowel control as well. Teenagers, who are heavily into sports at school such as gymnastics for example tumbling, can also experience a weak pelvic floor due to the force on the pelvic floor when landing as does running.

I found your speech very informative. I know that I am going to be the one that has the primary role in supporting my dad, my mum, and brother and sister. I know it’s not going to be easy and what sticks in my mind is the importance of looking after myself. Your personal input touched a chord that no website could match and I will heed your advice.
