“My GP told me to lose weight & I am also going deaf in both ears, I was struggling. I was trying my best to lose weight but it wasn’t working. I was becoming more and more frustrated. One of those tests showed me just how dehydrated my body had become which has a direct correlation to my fat stores. She explained what I needed to focus so that the weight loss was the reward. For the first time in my life it all made sense and guess what 10 days later I was already down a notch on my belt. Why did my GP not tell me that?

GOUT – What can I do to help myself?
Food choices play a huge role when you are trying to control episodes of gout. Gout can be extremely painful and some of the most common problems can be from our western diet.
Below are some suggestions in your quest to combat a gout episode.
Stop drinking alcohol such as beer and wine.
Abstain from drinking coffee.
Drink plenty of water
Test your acidity levels in your body by investing in a packet of urines strips which will report your acidity levels. Check them on the chart provided.
Your PH levels will probably report a low PH reading and high levels of acidity. Balancing the P H in your body requires you to eat foods which act as an Alkaline to neutralise the acid in your joints. Alternatively you can make an appointment to see your G P and ask for a diet sheet and by following the choices of foods start the process of reducing the painful symptoms you are experiencing.
Making sure you understand the effect of your food choices are having on your body can help keep your body and your immune system in harmony.
Leafy greens such as spinach may in fact be one of the best leafy grees we have access to. Spinach is known for being rich in vitamin K and folate content.
Spinach is packed with vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, antioxidants and fiber, helping to improve and aid digestion.
Lemons may be the most alkalizing food of all. As a natural disinfectant, it can heal wounds while also providing relief for hyperacidity and energizing the liver.
This can promote detoxification.
Therefore you may wish to consider before you invest in a costly detox program which does not suit everyone because of some of the contraindications associated with it, consider working with what is naturally available to you.
Root vegetables due to “yang’s ” healing nature in traditional Chinese medicine, their tendency is lent to being richer in minerals than many other vegetables. Root vegetables can also help aid in you feeling fed and grounded.

I am 85 Years old, live independently on my own and still travel. Although I am on medication and have the onset of Coronary heart disease I work out once a week and my sessions are adjusted accordingly and as necessary depending on how I feel and how much energy I have.
